The Himachal Culture and Heritage Foundation is a legally registered entity under the Indian Trust Act of 1882. Its registered office is situated in Village Bhuana, Tehsil Palampur, District Kangra, Himachal Pradesh (176076). The foundation's operational jurisdiction encompasses the entirety of Himachal Pradesh. At present, the foundation is actively involved in a range of cultural and economic development initiatives across Himachal Pradesh, primarily focusing on the preservation, promotion, and dissemination of the region's rich cultural heritage.
Significance
Due to geographical challenges, the continuity of ancient cultural heritage, knowledge, and wisdom has been preserved. Himachal Pradesh boasts a diverse culture characterized by its vibrant costumes, rituals, traditions, and oral heritage, which must be conveyed to future generations to ensure their preservation and ongoing significance.
